Zeyu Luo is currently pursuing his PhD at Auburn University under the supervision of Dr. Shuai Huang. His research interests lie in the application of AI in Healthcare, specifically focusing on computer vision algorithms and Large Language Models(LLM).
Prior to joining the CNAI Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), with an affiliation to the Neuroimaging Center, Zeyu completed his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the City University of Macau, where he was recognized with an excellence research award. Additionally, he participated in an exchange program in the Department of Computer Science at Shenzhen University. Zeyu has multiple research experiences, he was a Research Assistant at a state level hospital, where he was collaborating with ICU physicians and AI experts to resolve complicated tasks based on clinical information.
Zeyu is laying the foundation for integrating AI into the human brain, pivoting from earlier research under Dr. Huang’s guidance. His work begins with the fundamental principles of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), then progresses to explore advanced solutions for crucial, unresolved motion correction challenges. He has achieved interim findings.
For the further research plan, Zeyu aims to investigate combining traditional approaches with LLM. He believes it is a feasible way towards general AI and the World Model. His ultimate goal is to find a uniform framework to adapt all kinds of data.
